North Carolina Other Species Analysis

With the Veterinary Care Accessibility Project, I analyzed North Carolina’s animal shelter counts from 2010 and 2022. Purpose behind the analysis was to evaluate whether outcomes for other species besides cats and dogs also improved since 2010. Found that while intakes of raccoons, opossums, birds, and bats have decreased, their euthanasia rate remained about the same.
